It's been a month or so, but progress is still going on. There should be a 0.93 release fairly soon, which is mostly bugfixes and small tweaks, but with quite a few nice enhancements for the current editor.
The next release after that will hopefully contain a whole new editor which I worked on in San Francisco while I couldn't sleep - the basic stuff is working, but there's a lot to do to make it usable for everything. This features draggable nodes and draggable VIAs - curves are really nice and easy in the new editor.
