I love it when one package update breaks something a few dependencies down the chain. A PCRE-related issue caused some (non-fatal) problems here. Sorted now.

So far, I haven't heard of too many show-stoppers from the 40 or so people who downloaded 0.9pre1. If it is causing you problems, please do let me know!
Known things (fixed):
If you are feeling brave, and are an existing weathermap user, please help me test 0.9 - here is the first release candidate.
I'm hard at work on the manual for 0.9, and have just finished the 'Changes' page, which I thought might be of interest. I have tomorrow off work, so I hope to make good progress with this documentation stuff.
As a distraction from work (and from manual writing), I've been playing around a little with automatic mapping. The principal is pretty simple, and you can break the task down into chunks.
Part of the new site is a Weathermap blog. I wanted to make it more obvious that things happen between releases, and maybe encourage a bit more discussion on the direction that it should take, too.
There are also more long-form articles here, which focus on specific features. I want to expand that, and perhaps expand the FAQ section of the manual into something a little nicer.
